Want your server to show up with a proper name instead of "Default Palworld Server", and be findable by name in Palworld's in-game server browser? It's one setting.
Set your server's name
- Open your server in the Game Panel.
- Go to the Startup tab.
- Set your Server Name: this is exactly what players search for in-game. While you're there you can also set:
- Server Password: leave empty for open access, or set one so the server is findable but entry is restricted
- Admin Password: your key to admin commands
- Restart the server to apply.
How players find it
In Palworld: Join Multiplayer Game → search for your exact server name in the community list. New names can take a few minutes after startup to appear, and the list is huge, searching the name verbatim beats scrolling.
Direct connect by IP:port always works too, listed or not, private groups often skip the browser entirely and just share the address.
Running an open public server? Set a strong Admin Password, add automatic restarts, and take regular backups, public worlds attract traffic and the occasional troublemaker.
