How to Become Admin and Use Admin Commands

Someone griefing bases at 3am? Admin powers let you kick, ban, broadcast and force-save, right from inside the game.

Set an admin password

1. Stop your server from the Game Panel.
2. Open the Startup tab and set Admin Password to something secret, e.g. MySecret123.
3. Save and start the server.

Become admin in-game

Join the server, open chat and type:

/AdminPassword MySecret123

You'll get a confirmation that you now have admin rights.

Useful admin commands

• /ShowPlayers: list online players with their IDs
• /KickPlayer <SteamID>: kick a player
• /BanPlayer <SteamID>: ban a player
• /Broadcast <message>: send a message to everyone (use underscores instead of spaces)
• /Save: force a world save
• /DoExit: shut the server down
• /Info: show server info

Force a /Save before restarting or changing settings, so nobody loses progress.
