Good news: crossplay is enabled by default on every ThundraNode Palworld server. There's nothing to configure. Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Mac players can all join the same server out of the box.
How players join
- Steam / Mac: Join Multiplayer Game → enter the server IP and port (direct connect), or search for the server's name in the community browser.
- Xbox / PS5: join through the in-game multiplayer menu: searching the server list for your server's name is the most reliable route.
Your server's name is whatever you set in the Startup tab of the Game Panel, give it something distinctive so it's easy to find. You can set a Server Password there too if you want the server findable but private.
Good to know
- Everyone must be on the same game version: platforms sometimes receive patches hours apart, which can temporarily block cross-platform joining until everyone's caught up. Your server updates itself automatically on restart.
- Mods generally break crossplay for non-Steam players; run a vanilla server if console players are part of your group.
- If a console player can't find the server, double-check the exact server name in the Startup tab and search for it verbatim: the community list is huge.
