How to Install Valheim Plus

Valheim Plus lets you adjust things vanilla Valheim locks you out of: stamina drain, carry weight, building restrictions, damage multipliers, and a long list of other settings. It needs BepInEx first. Make sure that's enabled, see How to Install Mods, before continuing here.

Download Valheim Plus

Download the latest release from the Valheim Plus page on Thunderstore or NexusMods. Get the server version, not the client-only version.

Install it

1. Open Files.
2. Navigate into BepInEx, then plugins.
3. Extract the zip you downloaded on your own computer first.
4. Inside the extracted files, find ValheimPlus.dll. It's usually nested inside its own BepInEx/plugins folder. Upload just that one file, not the whole extracted folder structure.
5. Upload ValheimPlus.dll into your server's BepInEx/plugins folder.
6. Restart the server.

Playing with it installed

Valheim Plus also has a PC client version. Players who want the extra UI info and the in-game config menu should install it on their own computer too, from the same source. Players without it can still join and play normally, they just won't see the extra interface.

Still stuck?

If Console doesn't show Valheim Plus loading after a restart, double check ValheimPlus.dll landed directly in plugins, not inside a leftover subfolder from the zip. See the troubleshooting section in How to Install Mods for more, or open a support ticket with your server ID.
