Cancelling takes about a minute, and it happens in the billing area, not the game panel. That catches most people out, because they expect a delete button next to Start and Stop.
Refunds work like this:
- New orders have a 3 day money back guarantee. Not happy in the first 3 days? Open a ticket and we will refund it.
- Renewals are not normally refunded. If a subscription renewed because it was not cancelled in time, that charge usually stands.

Every new order is covered for 3 days from the time you order.
If the server is not what you expected, or you cannot get it working the way you hoped, open a ticket within those 3 days and ask for a refund. You do not need to justify it at length.
The guarantee covers new orders. It does not cover renewals of a server you have already been running.
If a renewal caught you out
This is the situation we get asked about most, so here is the honest answer.
When a subscription renews, we have kept the server reserved and running for you, so renewal charges are not normally refunded. Cancelling after the charge lands stops the next one, not the one that already went through.
The way to avoid it is to cancel before the renewal date, even if you still have days left. Choosing end of billing period means you keep the server for everything you have already paid for, and it simply does not renew.
If something genuinely unusual happened, a double charge, or a cancellation you submitted that did not process, open a ticket with the dates and we will look into it properly.
How to cancel
- Log in at thundranode.com/billing. If you cannot get in, sort that first with how to reset your password.
- Click the service you want to cancel.
- Click Request Cancellation on the left.
- Choose when it happens:
- End of billing period keeps the server running until the time you paid for runs out, then stops it renewing. This is the one most people want.
- Immediate removes the server within roughly 12 to 48 hours.
- Confirm.
Cancelling deletes your server files, and immediate cancellation does it within a couple of days. Once a server is gone we cannot bring it back. Download anything you care about first. See how to back up and restore.
Before you cancel, one alternative
If the server is simply costing more than you want, you do not have to leave. A smaller plan may do the job. See how to upgrade or downgrade your plan, or ask us and we will suggest a size that fits.
