Overview
This guide explains how to generate a new world using a custom seed on your server.
⚠️ Important Notes
- Changing the seed requires deleting the current world.
- Make sure to back up your world if you want to keep it.
️ Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Stop the Server
- Go to your server dashboard.
- Click Stop Server.
- Wait until it is fully offline.
2. Delete the Current World
- Navigate to your server files. (From Files, File Manager)
- Locate the world folder (commonly named
world,world_nether,world_the_end). - Delete these folders.
3. Open Server Properties
- Open Server Properties
- Search for
level seed
4. Set the New Seed
- Change the values to -2938218 for example.
✅ Start Server
- A new world will generate using your chosen seed.
